Deleted Scenes
Preparing to post these scenes, I began mentally composing an intro about how we really hadn’t cut that much from Labyrinth’s Heart. Then I opened up the file where I kept the text we cut — not just whole scenes but anything a paragraph or longer, on the off chance we might resurrect it somewhere — and by the time I was done extracting the meaningful scenes, I had ten thousand words to share.
I guess we cut more than I remembered.
Like most of our deleted scenes, these are essentially unedited. Futhermore, because of how I saved them, the italics have all been lost — meaning that people’s thoughts are rendered in roman type, along with everything that might have been emphasized before. On the one hand, I could try to go through and restore the italics; on the other hand, these are unedited deleted scenes anyway. So I give them to you as they are!
